ABC DRY CHEMICAL FIRE EXTINGUISHERS

ABC DRY CHEMICAL FIRE EXTINGUISHERS utilize a Monoammonium Phosphate dry chemical. It chemically insulates Class A fires by melting and clinging to the heated surface, smothers and breaks the chain reaction on Class B fires and is a non-conductor of electricity. Units are available in a range of sizes from 2½ to 20 lbs. capacity. When very large hazards require additional protection, wheeled extinguishers are also available by special order. Sizes are indicated below:

BC DRY CHEMICAL FIRE EXTINGUISHERS contain a siliconized Sodium Bicarbonate based dry chemical. Suitable for combating fires in flammable liquids and pressurized gases, these extinguishers are electronically non-conductive. Clean up after use is easier because the chemical by nature does not bake to a hot surface. Temperature range -65° To + 120°F. These units are available in a range of sizes from 2 1/2 to 20 lbs. capacity. When very large hazards require additional protection, wheeled extinguishers are also available by special order.

HALOTRON I

HALOTRON I is a "clean agent" HydroChloroFluoroCarbon discharged as a rapidly evaporating liquid which leaves no residue. It effectively extinguishes Class A, and B fires by cooling and smothering it will not conduct electricity back to the operator. Halotron is pressurized with Argon gas and is an EPA and FAA approved HCFC blend agent approved on Class A, B and C fires. It has a low GWP of 0.04 - 0.24, low ODP of 0.014 (twelve times lower than the EPA maximum allowable ODP of 0.20) and low Atmospheric Lifetime (3 1/2 to 11 years). Halotron is intended for use in areas formerly protected by Halon 1211 hand portable extinguishers such as computer rooms, telecommunications facilities, clean rooms, data storage areas, offices (for protection of sensitive electronic equipment), aircraft, boats and vehicles.
NOTE: The 5, 11 and 15 1/4 lbs. are US Coast Guard approved with brackets listed on the U.L label.

CARBON DIOXIDE (CO2) PORTABLE FIRE EXTINGUISHERS. Carbon Dioxide is effective for Class B flammable liquid fires, is electronically non-conductive, and is a clean non-contaminating odorless gas, safe for use on clothing, equipment, valuable documents and food. Class K "Kitchen Use" WET CHEMICAL EXTINGUISHERS contains a special potassium acetate based, low PH agent developed for use in pre-engineered restaurant kitchen systems. Included in the new NFPA 10 1998 edition.
